It may be recalled that a civil court in Rawalpindi has honorably acquitted Atiqa Odho, a well-known actress of Pakistan's drama and film industry, in a two-bottle liquor case after 9 years.
It took 9 years, 2 months and 14 days to make this decision.
The court ruled that there was no evidence against the actress and therefore she was acquitted.
It may be recalled that on June 7, 2011, the Airport Police Station had registered a case against actress Atiqa Odho on the orders of former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry.
