In a four-page statement released on Twitter, Asim Bajwa said he had been accused of misrepresenting the assets he had submitted to the federal government as special assistant to the prime minister on June 22, 2020. Because it does not mention his wife's investment abroad and that his brothers 'business growth in the United States is related to their growth in the Pakistani military, while his brothers' and children's companies, Businesses and properties have been vilified, and their value and ownership have been vilified.

Asim Bajwa said that the allegation against him that he did not disclose the details of his wife's business as an information consultant was not true.

He said he disclosed the details of his assets on June 22, 2020, but his wife had separated from his brothers' foreign business a few weeks ago and withdrew his investment on June 1, 2020. At the time of disclosure, she was not an investor or owner of shares in these companies.

He claimed that his wife's separation from business was officially mentioned in documents in the United States.

It may be recalled that in the list of assets released in July, Asim Bajwa showed an investment of only Rs 31 lakh in the 'family business' in the name of his wife and confirmed at the end of the affidavit that' mine, and my The list of his wife's assets is not only complete and accurate, but I did not hide anything.
Asim Bajwa added that in the 18-year period from 2002 to June 1, 2020, his wife had invested a total of  19,492 in his brothers' business in the United States.

He said that this investment was made with the money saved by him (Asim Bajwa) and all of them have accounts, and this investment did not violate the rules and regulations of the State Bank of Pakistan 'even once'.

The former army general said in a statement that journalist Ahmad Noorani's report accused Bajco Global Management of being in fact the patron of all Bajco-affiliated businesses. He said it was "beyond reality" because Bajco Global Management is not the patron of any company but only a management company that provides "management services" to all Bajco-affiliated businesses for a fee.

He said the reporter had "falsely claimed" that Bajko owned 99 companies, while several companies on the list had been "counted several times". He said there are currently 27 active companies in the United States and two in the United Arab Emirates.
