Freelancing Industry how can you make money?
Freelancing has become one of the biggest industries for earning and making money. All you need is a laptop with some analytical skills, good knowledge of English, and a Wi-Fi connection. Pakistanis today are well acquainted with the online industry. According to the e-employment website, Pakistan is ranked among the top five countries in the Oxford Internet Institute's online labor index published in 2017, where people earn about $ 0.5 billion from freelancing. Similarly, the average salary of a freelancer is Rs 28,909.
This means Pakistan has the potential to compete with the world's largest markets, such as the United States, which, according to the Global Jag Economy Index, generated 78% of freelance revenue through Jag Economy in 2019, followed by the UK. ( 59%) and Brazil ( 47%). While Pakistan ranks fourth with a 47% increase in its independent income last year and is among the 10 countries in Asia that are happy to make money through the online industry. However, since the beginning of the year 2020, the world has been facing a major economic crisis due to COVID 19.
Even the world's largest economies, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, and France, have been devastated by the pandemic. Despite all possible measures, they have failed to contain the devastation. So how can a developing country like Pakistan be expected to deal with the Coronavirus, which affects 40% of the population living below the poverty line? The downturn is causing panic and anxiety among people of almost all ages. Mainstream and social media are abuzz with news of increasing coronavirus cases and deaths. This has created anxiety, distress, and anxiety among the youth. Schools, colleges, and universities are closed due to which students have to stay confined to their homes. Many institutions use online media forums to arrange online classes that have failed miserably in our country. Teachers and students are dissatisfied with the unplanned approach to online classes. As a result, most institutions have canceled online classes and are looking forward to September to resume the semester.
In the current situation, the youth of Pakistan look completely unconscious due to a lack of physical and mental activity. They seem to be frustrated by not being able to do interesting and thought-provoking activities these days. People who are interested in working as freelancers have no idea where to start. In particular, those who have social and artistic writing skills do not find a reliable site where they can express their skills. Because, while there are many benefits to making money online, there have also been reports of fraud by authors who work with complete honesty and dedication but fall prey to counterfeiters. I want to share the idea of how they can start their own business to show off their talents from the comfort of their own home, or at least part-time or a few hours. I offer full-time or part-time jobs and you will be well acquainted with them as they publish typing/data entry / educational / blog and content writing / graphic designing and many other types of advertisements. They need freelancers to work full-time/part-time or on an hourly basis. Currently, the government has taken a commendable step to air classes 1 to 12 as part of the teleschool project.
I suggest that the government should also introduce programs where young people in Pakistan are instructed on how to start their own online business or demonstrate their skills through freelancing. In this way, we will definitely put Pakistan at the top of the list of the world's largest online markets.
