KARACHI: Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has advised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to call Atif Aslam instead of Maryam Nawaz in the October 16 meeting.
Fawad Chaudhry has shared a short video of the talk show aired on his Twitter account private Channel in which he and PML-N leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha are talking about the October 16 rally in Gujranwala.
During the show, when the host asked Maryam Nawaz to lead the meeting instead of Shahbaz Sharif, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha termed PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz as a (crowd puller) and said that it was a fact that Maryam If Nawaz is a crowd puller, then our party has to lead us with such a servant in whose meeting or rally people come out of their houses on their own, we do not have to call people.
Responding to Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha's remark, he said, "Do it. Call Atif Aslam." Then do this and call Ataullah Issa Khan Khelvi. The host and Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha also laughed at Fawad Chaudhry's statement.
It may be mentioned that the opposition Ittehad PMD is holding a rally in Gujranwala today which will be hosted by PML-N while Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will address the rally.
